Student Placement

At OzChild, we are on a journey to discover and apply new approaches and best practices to achieve better outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and families.

We offer a limited number of student placements to final year diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate students who need to gain field experience related to their area of study; including:

• Social Work
• Community Development
   

We have existing partnerships with education providers and will only accept applications and provide placement to students who have been supported by their education provider to complete a placement with OzChild.

Due to the highly complex nature of our work, OzChild can only provide direct client contact in the following programs:

Successful applicants will be required to consent and undergo a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
