The Job!

This is a 12 month contract in an established team. As the Senior Carer Supervisr for foster care your main role will be effective supervision and support of carers and the placement of children with suitable carers. The role is paying SCHADS level 6.

The purpose of the position is to improve outcomes for children and young people by delivering services and program outcomes through the support, supervision, and development of clients in the Foster Care program.

  • Tertiary Qualification in, Human Services, Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology with experience of training and assessment and foster care
  • Experience in a similar role, out of home care, foster care, kinship
  • Current driving license (essential)
  • Comprehensive understanding of foster care


  • Complex case management for carers and children
  • Assessment and placement plans
  • Supporting reunification outcomes
  • Carer support, supervision and development
  • Identify potential placements for new carers by conducting assessments
